DAY -1 Ubud
You are met on arrival at Denpasar International Airport and transferred to your hotel by car. The drive into Ubud takes about an hour presenting you an opportunity to enjoy the sights on your way, especially the lush green rice paddies in terrace farms and flowers blooming on tropical trees. After settling down in your hotel, get a bite to eat before heading out to Petulu village to watch the big herons find their perches on treetops as the dusk falls. As you walk back to Ubud, you are sure to work up an appetite. Relish great food cooked with fresh local ingredients at Mozaic Restaurant.
Day 2 Ubud
A trip to Ubud is incomplete without a visit to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. The sanctuary is well known for its three carved Hindu temples and scores of long-tailed macaques. Ubud is the crafts and culture capital of Bali and Ubud Art Market is a must visit for its exquisite hand crafted items, silk scarves, and Balinese Paintings. In the evening move to Ubud palace gardens to visit the Pura Taman Saraswati Temple located in front of a beautiful lotus pond. The Ubud palace is also known for traditional song and dance performances in the evenings. Dinner at Bridges Bali Restaurant situated on the banks of Wos River.
Day 3 Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua is at a distance of around 41 kilometres from Ubud and the drive takes a little less than an hour and a half.Once rested, set out to see the Nusa Dua Islands, the twin islands that give the place its name. Be mesmerized by the Water Blow, a rock formation giving the impression of water blowing up as waves crash onto the rock. The waters of the bay are great for a swim. Late afternoon, you can visit the Museum Pasifika that houses paintings from a number of European artists settled in Bali, Polynesian artefacts, Chinese and Japanese paintings, tapa bark artwork from Oceania, etc.
Day 4 Nusa Dua
Go for a camel safari on the Southern Sawangan Coast of Nusa Dua. Packages include combinations of excursions, lunch, and water sports. Situated atop the Ungasan hills is the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park with its gigantic statue of Lord Vishnu riding on the Garuda or the Eagle. The park is also the venue for many exhibitions and cultural performances.
Day 5 Seminyak
Seminyak is at a distance of around 18 kilometres from Nusa Dua and perhaps the flashiest and most glamorous among the beach resort areas of Bali.After a cool drink at your resort start your first day in Seminyak with a visit to the centuries old temple Pura Petitenget and another smaller temple Masceti Ulun Tanjung located nearby. Next stop is Trick Art 3D gallery which houses masterfully created hyper-realistic murals and paintings. Spend the evening at Ku De Ta, a great place for watching the sunset sipping an exotic cocktail followed by a lip-smacking dinner prepared by master chefs.
Day 6 Seminyak
Start your day by indulging in any of the water activities like surfing, snorkeling, jet skiing, etc. Keep the afternoon for shopping at this fashion hub, home to numerous high-end boutiques and showrooms. Enjoy a relaxing spa session after your shopping spree at one of the many spas that dot Seminyak offering traditional Balinese massages and other unique treatments. Dinner at Woo Bar located in W Retreat. With international DJs, drinks by the poolside and an impressive choice of cocktails and snacks, and even fruity-flavoured hookahs, Woo Bar is the most happening nightspot in the area and perfect for the last evening of your terrific holiday.
Day 7 Departure
Breakfast and transfer to departure point.
