Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Mauritius
After arriving in Mauritius by flight, meet our representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After relaxing, you are free to spend the day as per your own liking, tasting the local renditions, interacting with the locals, exploring the nearby surroundings and so on. In the evening, if you want you can visit the coastal village of Grand Baie or the vigorous waterfront area. After dinner, go to your room for an overnight stay.
Day 2: North Island
On the 2nd day, post breakfast, leave for a day’s excursion to North Island, exploring the beautiful Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, adjacent to the Caudan Waterfront, La Citadel and Marie Reine De La Paix. The city is known for its French-style colonial buildings. Later, indulge in shopping at the Jumbo Hypermarket or Pamplemousses Garden (entry- USD 5, pre- booking necessary) and the local Market of the China Town. Later, also visit the Aapravasi Ghat – collection of cultural buildings and Museum. Return back to your hotel for dinner and staying overnight.
Day 3: Mauritius
Post breakfast, your day is at leisure and you have a number of optional tours to pick from. You can pick one of the most thrilling activities of Under Sea walk wherein you would walk on the Sea bed. Get aboard the Le Nesse, a semi submersible to have a close look at the exotic marine while you are covered in the safety of glass. All this surely is a ‘once-in-a-lifetime-experience’. After dinner, overnight stay.
Day 4: Ile Aux Cerfs by speed boat
Post breakfast on day 4thleave by coach for a day’s excursion to Ile Aux Cerfs (deer island), an emerald lagoon located on the eastern coast. Go on-board a speed boat from the jetty to arrive at the island. After arrival at Ile Aux Cerfs, indulge in fun activities at the beach. If you want you can try your hands at and water sports like parasailing (at your own cost).
Back to your hotel in the evening, for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Mauritius
After breakfast on the 5th day of the tour, you are again free to spend the day according to your preference. You have a lot to do. If you wish, you can go on-board a cruise and visit any of the beautiful islands, or can simply relax in your hotel and enjoy the facilities being offered or can visit the beach and indulge in fun activities.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: South Island Tour
The 6thday of the tour, post breakfast, is for a day’s excursion to the South Island. Once you reach, explore the prime sights including Chamarel village, also known as Coloured Earth. Enjoy the sight of 7-hues of its earth and the gushing Chamarel Falls. The other attractions of the day include Floreal shop factories, the Trou Aux Cerfs, also known as Murr’s Volcano – a dormant volcano with a crater, Black River Gorges and the Grand Bassin – a lake in the crater of an extinct volcano that is a Hindu religious place too.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
Today is the last day of the tour when post breakfast, you get an assisted transfer to the airport to board a flight for your hometown.
